It appears that K-Tec blender products are made / were made by Blendtec. I suggest you contact the company directly and ask your question. You can find the Contact Us information here: https://www.blendtec.com/pages/contact-us
I called blendtec and got it figured out. The unit was in some locked mode and so I had to push the buttons 4-1-3 in that order to get it to work. The confusing thing is there's two invisible buttons between 1,2 and low, high. So the buttons go 1, 2, 3(invisible), 4(invisible), 5 (low), 6 (high). It mentions these options in the manual on page 18.
You can't. The Jars have perfectly balanced blades that cannot be changed. A replacement jar from Blendtec is cheaper than a replacement blade assembly from other manufacturers. 1-800-253-6383 is the customer service number.
The product has a 3-year warranty:
A reading of “OVERLOAD” indicates an overload on the motor. Turn off
and unplug the unit. Plug in the unit and turn the motor on again to clear the
over-load condition. Check the blender jar for blockage. If overload condition
re-occurs, contact your Blendtec service agent.
Or perhaps you know of a source of Blendtec logic boards. Thanks
