There is a switch that controls the on/off of display when the lid is opened or closed. Sometimes it's located near the hinges. Perhaps it's been damaged, loose, dirty, etc. Unplug, remove battery, plug in, reboot.
Hi,when a phone has a display problem, It's in two ways,either the screen is bad or the phone is corrupt.
When a phone has display problem the screen might be bad due to phone fallen on the flow or hitting on the flow.
There are two kinds of white screen in phone, the first one is because of damage LCD (glass screen) , defective display driver (small chips that makes the display works) and the other one is corrupted software...in damage lcd the phone will detected by computer because its software is still working...so , the problem of your phone am sure is the second one , corrupted software....your phone needs to reprogram,and need to go to the model of the phones care center to fix you problem... i hope ,i will help you ,thanks for trusting fixya...

I advice you get a brand new screen for replacement and when going to get the screen, please go with the phone so that you can get the exact screen and a working screen.
My new TV LCD Samsung LC32C530 Series 5 has one half darker and with less contrast than the other.This is noticeable now always. There is a distinct and clear division down exactly half the display which separates the dark and light sides.. Any ideas?Thank you.
