Panasonic PT-LC56E Projector. Operates fine if not used before, then I turn it off and leave it for maybe upto an hour, I then try to turn it on again and the "Lamp" light starts flashing and the bulb does not turn on. Once left for a couple of hours it will turn back on again fine. Any ideas what I can do?

With power available at the projector and the lamp off (projector off) - hold the input button on and press the power button on and hold for 5 secs. This will reset the lamp timer to zero.
I wish they could have stuck this in the operators manual.
