My Frigidaire Oven display panel won't come on all of a sudden. Burners and oven light work. It could be from a surge in electricity. How do I 1) check fuses or breaker? Where are these located? How could I diagnose if this is the EOC (Electronic Oven Control) panel? If it is the EOC, how do I replace it?

If the burners and oven light are working, then you have power coming in. It's most likely a defective EOC. If you haven't tried turning off the circuit breaker for 5-10 mins to reset any glitch associated with a surge or spike, do so. If this doesn't reset the control, the EOC will need to be replaced.

SOURCE: Frigidaire double oven has one element not working in each oven

sounds as if perhaps there has been a thermal overload(switch) tha has gone bad, refer to part number 119 on bothe the lower and upper oven for refernce , you should have continuity trough the switches.

SOURCE: I have a gas stove - Frigidaire model FGF326ASA.

You probably have a weak ignitor. To operate properly it should draw 3.5 amps or better. The ignitor must be bright. If it is dim it is weak.

My Frigidaire electric range wont work (burners and oven)

The clock display works on 120 volts but the burners and oven require 240 volts. I would check the breaker or the receptacle to see if they're bad. They may be supplying only 120 volts. One more less common problem could be the terminal block on the range where the power comes in. Very rarely they will melt. BE SURE TO UNPLUG THE RANGE if you have to check the terminal block. Hope this helps.

Probe light on convection oven stays on. Clock won't display. Oven still works though.

Sounds like the control board is not communicating correctly with the rest of the unit, consult a professional.

The control panel lights do not work nor does the oven. all the burners work fine this is a convection oven with a smooth top Gallery series

Check your main breaker in the fuse panel, it may be partially tripped. Turn the 40 amp breaker off and back on. if the display does not return to the stove, the I would suggest you contact a local servicer.

Oven not heating KitchenAid KERC506HWH3

This is probably the thermal shuttoff fuse. Usualy mounted in the back of the oven. Aftermarket fuses are resetable but the OEM ones that come with the ovens usualy are not, so when they go out they stay out. This shuttoff only effects the power to the element so the rest of the oven appears to work.
The oven has to come out and remove the rear covers, behind the covers you will see 2 wires that go to a small 1/2 in dia "plug" that mounts directly to the surface with 2 screws.
Remove the connections and put a meter across the cuttout. it should read very close to zero ohms, if not its blown.

Oven not heating KitchenAid KERC506HWH3

Built-in ovens have a thermal fuse mounted in the back of the oven preventing the bake and broil from operating. In some cases this fuse will open after a self clean operation. In some models, the cooling fan turns off too soon, causing an overtemperature condition that may also cause the fuse to open. You will have to remove the oven and take off the back panel to gain access to this device.

Oven Problem

Check power going to the electronic module in back of the display. If power there you have a blown module. If no power check for a blown thermal fuze.
