42" philips plasma still working but light flashing

I have the above tv. It's still working but when switched on the green led gives one long flash and then 4 short flashes. When on standby the red led does the same. I'm worried it's going to pack up soon and need help or advice. Thanks

Philips 42PF5521D will not switch on

The main digital board should be suspected. Check this for more details. There are so many reasons for this fault. The flashing of LED at its front panel denotes this. Count the number of flashes. You can get more details form the site linked above.

This fix was posted on similar problem, worthy of repeating: Replaced 3300mf 10V capacitors at PS. Both had bulged slightly. Upsized to 25V as the previous solution poster had suggested 16V but I could not locate 16V so used 25V and TV is back to normal!
