Outlook 2007 contacts do not appear in WinFax PRO as a phonebook, you can however, import them after exporting your contact list in Outlook 2007 (as .CSV format)

If you are having problems importing phonebooks, changing phonebook entries or just having crashes with WinFax when attempting to change any dialing setting then I recommend going here: http://www.getfaxing.com/services.htm#forums

Dear. Try System Restore. Enter the date that you remember your Winfax.pro worked and included your phone book. Enter that date and restore your system. Sounds like you have clutter problems. Clean up your system daily. Go to Tools on the top right of your computer. Click Internet Options on the drop down menu. Click Delete in the pop up box to clean internet history. Then Click Ok when system is done cleaning the history that bogs down your computer.
Also, run your Defragment Program over and over until it completes its action within seconds. Then run Disk Clean. Your system will run smoother. Be blessed.

Lost info when winfax locked up

Did you lose your entire phonebook? or some entries that you were previously editing? Normally this can occur when there is data corruption in the phonebook file. Did you notice any error messages, or "rebuilding" message when you re-started WinFax? You can also
visit the winfax forums here : http://www.getfaxing.com/forums/
Without more details, I cann't say if the data is lost or if you can recover any data.

My phonebook and all my data fax are missing

I'd suggest a professional that is familiar with WinFax to do this, or if you have a backup in form of a "WFA" file, you can also perform a "restore" in WinFax. http://www.getfaxing.com/forums

Winfax Pro on Xp - Update to Vista - Winfax data viewer in Vista?

Try FaxTalkPro. It imports WinfaxPro phonebooks and files, and the interface is very similar to WinfaxPro. The link to the trial version is:

Receiving Fax Line always 'busy'

Installing fax software can be tricky, particularly if you want to import phone-book listings from an existing database or PIM, such as Microsoft Outlook. But WinFax Pro proves easy to configure. A series of introductory screens walks you through installation; you just click Next to accept the default configuration. In our tests, WinFax Pro accurately detected our fax modem and seamlessly imported our contacts from Microsoft Outlook. By comparison, competing fax programs either don't import directly from Outlook or make the process trickier than it needs to be. you can try to look on website and there will explain to you. http://reviews.cnet.com/e-mail/winfax-pro-10-0/4505-3536_7-1536745.html
