Is the rca port broken or just not getting a signal? if it's truely broken, replace or repair the main board. if it's just a signal issue, reset the settings to factory default. try hooking up your computer and see if that works.

Infocus lp425z projector pushes latop display to left quarter of output image

Usually this is a hardware acceleration setting problem on the 'advanced' properties setting in your 'screen resolution' properties on your computer. Re-set the hardware acceleration to the 2nd setting and this should fix your issue. We have this regularly when we project on a double projector system and the one projector keeps shifting everything left until we adjust the hardware acceleration settings on the computer. No more issue.

I have a Toshiba Satellite L655-S5096 and am trying to use the RGB port to connect the laptop to a relevision. I'm attempting to use an adapter to convert to an RCA style plug as the tv doesn't...

I have tried this on several occasions with different models of VGA to RCA converter boxes and the resulting screen images have always been extremely POOR.

If I were you, I would not bother spending any money on one of those converters. Just save the money and put it towards a decent computer monitor or a good flatscreen TV with a VGA input connection.

You can pick up a good old CRT computer monitor for next to nothing these days since everyone is just throwing them out and changing over to the flatscreen monitors. And if you want, you can even pick up a small brand new flatscreen monitor for about $100, so there's not much reason really to mess around with those questionable converter devices.

Good luck anyway.

I am trying to connect and play my pc on my lcd tv

It depends on what sort of television you have and the connections that it has available.

1. The easiest way is to get a VGA cable like the one in the image below if your TV has a VGA input connection.

Notice this is for video, you will need a double audio jack cable to connect sound, if your TV has this sort of input, otherwise you are better of with option two.

2. If your TV doesn't have a VGA connection, you need to get a VGA to RCA adapter like in the image below. Majority of the TVs have a RCA input connection, so if your has one you need to get this adapter and an RCA cable.

How can i hook up my player to my tv with no rca inputs

There are adaptors. I bought a Philips brand that allows any dvd player to be connected to any television. You connect the RCA cables to the Philips adaptor from the DVD player then you connect the Philips adaptor to the rf input of the television with a coaxial cable.

Infocus X1 picture freezes and dissapears and then comes on again

your display settings may be off, so change settings to factory reset and you may have to drop the resolution on your computer. you may also have a bad cable, so try a different cable.

Infocus x1 noise problem

the colorwheel motor does burn out after a while (from heat and dust), but as long as it spins at the right speed, you won't see a problem in the image. if it's making noise, it's going to go soon. it does need replacing. however, infocus does not sell individual parts for the x1 optical engine. you will need to replace the entire engine, which costs up to $2000. so, enjoy the last few hours with your machine and look into getting another.

Multi-media projection without image

A great deal of the time DVD players are very restrictive on outputting to multiple sources due to copyright protection. In my experience, if you use your laptops function keys to toggle output (For example, on my laptop, I hit FUNCTION + F4 to cycle between LCD,LCD+VGA,VGA), you should be able to disable the laptop's LCD display, only outputting via the VGA cable. It's worked for me with my HP VP6111 and Windows XP in the past. Hope this helps!
