You can run a stream of liquid, (water or cutting oil) to reduce the heat, though it isn't always necessary. If you do use a liquid you'll need to be sure the cutting disc isn't to hot when you apply the liquid as the sudden temp change will cause the disc to fracture.

sounds if your tool has a loose or broken brush this is a small carbon object inside that makes motor run, dremel does sell replacement brushes for most of what they mfg. look where ever real dremel bits and tools are sold ck package back to see if your model number is serviced by this brush pack

Need to remove sticky residue from rock saw interior

I would use some sort of degrease product in the system to remove the oil residue . I believe that if you read the instructions it would say when cutting rock use only water to cool the diamond blade . Cutting oil is used only on certain metals to lubricate the saw edges and teeth as well as cooling and never in a concentration above 25% as it affects the cutting ability of the blade. For example concrete cutters use diamond saws and tap water when cutting

How to repair a water pipe leak under a concreat slab

Things to consider are cut and replace -1. Concrete saw the affected area replace and re-concrete (impact hammer is another option but a concrete saw is neater and you can control the cut better.. 2. You can bypass the pipe. 3. Dig under the slab - you obviously would need to be near an edge.

I don't know what the numbers are, but the little abrasive cut-off wheels are held on with a mandrel type bit and a screw. Make sure you get the right size wheel and the right size mandrel, they make a couple different sizes, you can't fit the small wheels on the bigger screw. Anyway, I use my cut-off wheels all the time, usually to get stubborn screws out by cutting a slot in the head and turning it out with a flat blade screw driver. The wheels will cut anything, most people scoff when I say that, but it is true, they will cut anything.

The only way to cut that stuff is with diamond abrasives, on a dremel type tool, The stuff is hard as a rock and doesn't like to be messed with. A diamond core drill will cut it but not through an existing hole, no way to hold it center. Diamond grit abrasives on a drum type bit in the dremel will grind out the hole, without much stress on it. It should work. If not, the the other way would be to get silicone carbide paper or cloth wrapped around a dowel and start filing away. It will take some elbow grease, but it should cut. No other abrasive paper will touch it.,,easily,,,

Water freezes on slab & Builds Up will not fall on Wires

We had this problem. You need to clean the freezing try using a green scouring pad and the solution they recommend in the user manual. You need to scrub the tray with forward backward motions until slippery clean. All surfaces need to be clean and free of plack. it will work like new if you do this. Need to remove the cutting try first.
