you have to scan with your scan program or photoshope and save your photo then import your photo in word -insert- picture

you must install color network scanner then set it!after that install app (like adobe 8 professional,Corel X3,abby fine reader)!!!
1.open adobe(or other app)
2.select ,,import file from scanner"
3.select ,,network scan gear"
and...this is it!!!!!!!

Alternative way is to use Foxit reader.

Try scan with the program Abby Fine Reader.May be you have it on the installation disk on printer.

Unfortunately printing Cyrillic(Russian) is driver dependent and your application can only use generic/text driver.

Did you tried with any OCR software to convert the Scanned imaged (jpeg) to Word Documen?.Always if you scan anything to an image, it will scan in JPEG format that will consume lot of memory.Scan with OCR(Optical Character Recognition) Software and that will Convert JPEG to word Document which will fix the problem.
The OCR software that i Recommend is ABBY Fine Reader.

When empty squares appear, it usually means the reader does not have the character set available to display the text. In plain English, the phone does not support Cyrillic - this is not something you can set or download either and is usually coded into the firmware of the phone.

Your best bet is it contact the manufacturer to query the Cyrillic character support.
