My new Whirlpool Cabrio stops repeatedly with the UL flashing it never finishes a wash load, do you have a step by step CD explaining the use of this washer? I am about to return it to the store and get a different brand washer.

I believe this model has a defective control board under the control panel. The new control board has longer times between the drain and the spin. Eliminating the unbalance when it tries to spin with water still left in it. Also check for slow drain this will enhance the problem. The control board is a warrany repair if covered.

Unbalanced load is detected by the machine control and the error code continues to display if the load is not rebalanced by the control through a mini-cycle and the lid is not opened.

Open the lid and redistribute the load properly. Make sure the washer is installed on a level and rigid surface. Use a leveling tool to make sure the washer is properly leveled to avoid the error code "UL" appearing on the display. If the error continues to appear, that's the time to decide returning the unit.
