Guys i got n70 cellphone nad i cannot open my inbox, outbox, sent items or text using my 1gig memory card as a memory in use!
-everytime i recieve message, when i try to open it..it wont let me do it, please tell what do i need to do, is it my memory card being corrupted??do i need to reformat my mmc??
my problem is that my memory card is showing corrupt,when memory card is put through formating the screen just show formating but nothing happens

I FORMATED MY MMC BUT WHEN I CHECKED THE CAPACITY..IT STILL SHOWS THAT IT HAS KB USAGE ON IT..MY PHONE IS JUST BRAND NEW..DOES IT MEAN IT HAS A VIRUS ON IT..SINCE I ET A FRIEND DOWNLOAD MP3'S ON IT....TNX.. The phone has hung up because there are errors in the software. So to reset remove the battery and the memory card from the phone. Using your PC , scan the memory card for any corrupt files or media files with virus- it is possible when they are downloaded from unsafe sites. If so remove or format the card. Now replace the card and battery and switch on the phone. If the phone hangs up then it is confirmed that the software is corrupt and will need a reinstallation. clear off all the messages in your inbox and outbox as some of them may contain corrupt files. If not Seeking help from the authorized service /support centre is most ideal. Take estimate and decide.
have you emptied your inbox if so and it is still got no memory then try to empty all your messages on the phone ie.outbox, drafts, sent items etc........
i have the same problem with my nokia n70. i think its because of a visrus, cause im on inthernet downloading stuff 24-7. when ive reseted it via *#7370# it worked. you should try it. but be sure to back up your files via pc, because it erases all of ur content.. good luck
tnx for choosing fixya, pleasecheck if the simcard you are using have signal. try to call the hotline of your area but change the last digit. if there is a response. try inserting a working sim card on the phone, if sam problem occur.... delete some messages on the sent items, inbox or outbox to free some space... also check the settings of your phone.
open the inbox > while in list mode > tick options on the option menu > tick Mark/Unmark NO!! you don;t need to tick the messages one by one.. > on the top most line > tick the box beside the word INBOX after ticking this > all message well be selected and then press delete >
Text Messages are stored onto your SIM card and not your phone. You would have to clean out your mail box (clean out old messages in your inbox, sent messages and outbox).
