Hi, First you must find out if you have an extra slot in your computer, and if it is an AGP or PCI Express slot for the card. Then we can suggest a card based on what you want to do....gaming...internet...etc. Hank

Hey guys. Built a new computer and decided to add a video card instead of using the onboard video. Bought an EVGA Geforce GTX570 SC 1280MB GDDR5. Pretty sweet. But I cant get it to work. Got the...

Hello, Your on-board vga is still active and by default your computer will use this for displaying graphics. You will need to disable it to use your new card or change priority so that it searches for an external display first. To do this restart your computer, go into the bios and turn it off or change priority. Refer to your computer manual for the proper location of this setting.
Please bear in mind that some systems do not give you the option of disabling your on-board vga. I believe this is to allow you to still use your computer should the external vga fail.

Hope this helps, thanks for using FixYa

I want display drivers for windows 7 for my intel motherboard D845GERG2...

Hi, the download site for your mainboard is here:

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Desktop+Boards&ProductLine=Intel%c2%ae+845+Chipset+Family+Boards&ProductProduct=Intel%c2%ae+Desktop+Board+D845GERG2

But there is no drivers for wndows 7.

You can add a better graphic card on the mainboard
compatible with windows 7. It should be a AGP card.

Nvidia and ati makes them.

Hope this will help you.

I have installed windows7 in my system , but VGA is not supported my motherboard model: 845gvsr prodessor: 2.8 GHz. Ram : 2GB Hard Disk: 500 GB

I think u should read the requirements for installing the Win7!

The win7 have a very strict HARDWARE REQUiREMENTS that they are forcing u to buy new board and processor!

If ur Win 7 runs in ur board and the prob is the video, read again the requirement, I think the minimum reqirement for win 7 is 512mb of video card!

Hope that hels u out!

Drivers for intel d102ggc2 motherboard and can I run windows 7 and vista on this board

Many will say you can't run Win 7 or Vista but I run WINDOWS 7 on my EMACHINE with this MOTHER BOARD adn have no problems so YES you can run it. Also the most current drivers will be in Win 7. You also should update your RAM and add a VID CARD...I would suggest the Navida product there are many that will work as WIN 7 WILL install DIRETX 11.I use the 9400 series card.

Intelgraphic driver d845 gbv

Hi fsg_3318, you do not need winzip to download & run the video driver for the Intel D845GBV motherboard. Click on this link to open the link for your, Video: Intel® Extreme Graphics Driver for 845 Chipset-Based Intel Desktop Boards.
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filter_results.aspx?strTypes=all&ProductID=825&OSFullName=Windows*+XP+Professional&lang=eng&strOSs=44&submit=Go%21
The file name is; win2k_xp.exe
Create a folder on your desktop. Download & save the file win2k_xp.exe into the folder. This is an *.exe file, once you double click on the file it will uncompress. The video driver should install all by its self. All drivers for your board are listed on the site above, you might want to bookmark the site just in case you need another driver.

Good luck fsg_3318
