I have Newly Bought Samsung ML 2245 Printer, I want to refill the Toner 1 st time. Did Demo Toner didn't refill ? Or Need to buy a newly Drum + Toner ?

Samsung printers such as ML 1640,ML 2245 and SCX 4300 have a toner page count embedded in their firmware. This is the reason that once you refill your toner after it has run out,the printer still doesnt print and says toner is exhausted.
After you've refilled the cartridge,you'll have to reset the toner count also to zero...to do this,download the firmware here.
ML 1640Ml 2245 and SCX 4300 are not available on Samsung support site.
You will need to google it and you may find it in torrents.
run it and it will reset your toner count to 0...you have to do this everytime you refill your toner.
Another solution is to open the backside of ML 1640 and ML 2245,locate the chip 93c66 and short pin numbers 1 and 4 and turn on the printer for a second.It only works in some cases though.
dis is quite common problem..don't panic.. did u change / replace the cartridge with original spare or refilled it?? this kind of problem often follows with an unbranded cartridge change and or refilling..!! least chance of the defective cartridge itself causing such problem..!! however always try to use genuine refill packs/toner.. ..contact ur system admin/vendor....
Are u facing error of " replace toner " or you want to repalce toner.

Hi, we just got a chip for this model, it will work on ML-1640, ML1641, ML-2240, ML-2241, ML-2242 Y ML-2245 this chip goes on the printer mainboard, it's a permanent one, never needs replacement , it will allow you to recharge the original demo cartridege , over ondo over again, if you need more info you can contact ma at [email protected], thank you.
