I need to wipe/clear my Sony Ericsson Satio/U1 mobile device as I am selling it. Any ideas?

1.Tap Dialler and enter *#7370#
2.Tap Yes to restore all original phone settings
3.Enter the lock code (0000 by default) and tap OK
4.The phone restarts

    i too have sony ericsson ST17i which works fine without sim but when a sim is inserted and switched on, it gets switched off by itself and later the routine of switch on and off till the battery is removed. i have factory reseted it several times. but its not working. But as stated earlier without sim it is working fine.

The phone's secondary camera is only used for video calls. There is no option on the phone that will allow you to take pictures of the front camera. You can only use main camera for photos.

1.go to your message settings and check the message center number to see if it is correct
2. call to your network operator customer care
3. request the message center number...
4.note it down
5. go to message settings>message center number
6. insert the number which is noted by you and save it

this solves your messaging problem ...
