Hi,

Sorry to hear your having problems with your microwave.

There are more than one fuse so the idea is to find which one [ if any] are bad / good.

Turn the unit upside down and remove all screws holding the cover on.

Look for the fuses that will very close to this diagram if not exactly. Just do not short out the transformer even unplugged for days this can give you a nasty shock and more.

Here you go and best of luck

Hi,
Thank you for contacting Fixya.com.
Besides the regular fuse your microwave has two thermal fuses - one is attached to the magnetron tube (called the magnetron Thermal Cut Off or TCO) and the cavity TCO (usually located under the air ducts on the left side of the microwave). If you have the wiring diagram (usually supplied with the microwave) you can find them there. Unfortunately the model number you provided I'm not able to find the wiring diagram for your microwave
Please accept the solution if it has helped you with your issue.

SOURCE: How do I replace a LG LMV1630ST microwave oven door handle?

Normally you have to separate the door panels (as shown in the attached photo) and then you'll see the screws you need to remove.

Or you can watch a YouTube video (not a video I made) here that demonstrates how it's done.

LG LMV1630ST over the counter microwave has fan that will not shut off

Unfortunately, about the only thing you can do is to replace the switch. We don't service microwaves that often so I am not to sure of where the switch is located on your unit. So here is the layout for your unit, and you can find the correct switch on the diagram and then look it up on the right side.

Where is the fuse on an LG micro?

On model LMV1630ST, it's located on the filter circuit board in front of where the cord comes into the unit.

You'll need to remove the oven from the wall, then remove the outer cover of the oven.

You can find the service manual at our site here.

You should consult your installation instructions.

If for some reason you don't still have your installation instructions, you can download them here.

LG LMV1630ST No heat

It sounds like the magnetron may have either failed or is not being supplied with the extremely high voltage required to run it.

YOUR SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT

This is a job for a professional but if you are safety clued up, here's instruction.
Make sure the !!!!any capacitors are discharged!!!!! before attempting any sort of repair.
Check the door interlock switches first then the high voltage diode with either an AVO model 8 or moving coil meter on high resistance range for short circuit, (DVM's won't show the fault!), the capacitor can fail and go short circuit, the feed fuse on the primary of the high voltage transformer and then finally, the magnetron is best checked by substitution.
Hope that helps.

My LG LMV1630ST has an issue with the clock. The

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for about 5 minutes.

Is it a US model (made for 60HZ power) being used overseas
(50HZ power)?
