Hi, I had similar problem that was solved by Total Video Converter software, download its trail version by clicking that link and convert video files in to mp4 format that will get playback in this player. I select Zune Video option in Pocket Player selection that works great for me. Click HERE to download a sample video song that is converted as mp4 format by Total Video Control software and it works great in my Sony player. Hope these info will help you. Let me know if you have additional question. Thanks.
So i think maybe you need to convert the wmv to MPEG-1 and then put it to your walkman player.
by the way ,if you found you can't find the video when you are using software, maybe it includes DRM-Protection.just guess.
Anyhow ,try the method as you know,i think you will found the right way ..for the software ,personally ,i used this video converter,it can convert wmv to mpeg-1 and it can also remove drm from wmv ...
I have tried numerous converters and once I move the files to my Sony Walkman it says that either the file cannot be played or that there are no video files on it. I have used manual settings, I have used programs that auto convert for sony walkman and nothing. What I don't get is that only a few weeks ago I added some wmv files to it and they are working fine, but now if I try to add even one of the same files it wont work. Did I accidently uninstall something, or something?
I think ur MP4 file is in wrong resolution for sony walkman, you could try this Daniusoft video covnerter, It is already optimized for output setting for sony walkman ... easy-to-use.
Make sure the video is in .wmv format. Sync it with Windows Media Player and it will convert it for you. You can get it into .wmv format by either using Windows Movie Maker and importing the video file and saving it, or google Prism Video converter and download that to convert it. It's fast, easy and efficient, and free.
