When u put the disc in does it automaticly open windows media player with the movie? if so after the dvd is in close media player ,go to "my computer" then go to the drive your disc is in and right click chose explore or open in new window on the video files u see right click one of them and choose "open with.." then click browse and navigate to your c:/drive program files and look for power dvd u will need to select the powerdvd.exe also make sure the box is ticked that says always use this program to open this kind of file ......make sure u have the rite codec's installed as well this link is for windows XP video codecs http://www.free-codecs.com/download/XP_Codec_Pack.htm this one is for windows vista http://www.free-codecs.com/download/vista_codec_package.htm and this 1 is for windows 7 http://shark007.net/win7codecs.html
