Samsung fridge RS2630SH, side by side, icing up on freezer.

Hi, I work on my samsung fridge, RS2630SH, ice up built up on freezer side panel, then it stopped cooling, defrost it, happen again often one or two weeks, I am thinking something wrong with control board or temp. sensor, I measured resistance of sensors (two), one is around 6500, other one is 3500, are they OK? can you please give me more details on checking board or sensors, thanks a lot.

Had the same problem with same model. Best Buy service tech tried new board, new sensors, new ice make, etc and nothing fixed it. Finally today, they said "it's a lemon" go get another refrigerator!

You have to pull out the sensor from the board and test with tester, both sensor should read the resistance of 10,000 to 20,000 ohms. The reading that you show is very low it means that the thermistor is out of range and need replacement.

Hi Fridge side fan was noise for 3 days and now

Hi I have same unit. Problem is the fridge circulator fan gradually ices up, becomes noisy and then stops when frozen up.
To fix quickly you need to remove all shelves drawers etc, then unfasten lower panel fixings and find the whole back is full of ice including the fan.
Remove panel , and de-ice fan etc until fan rotates freely. Replace and all will be OK.
Otherwise empty and defrost normally but be prepared for a long wait
Don't call an engineer he will just do same. Hope this helps

Samsung fridge RS2630, icing up on freezer and fridge not cooling

Could be the defrost element. If it does not work and melt the ice off of the evaporator, icing will continue and serve as an insulator. Freezer and refrigerator temps will suffer.
If you unplug the unit and let it defrost for a day and plug back in it will work fine till it freezes up again.

Freezer light flashing

if you have ice built up on rear wall of freezer section then your unit is not going through defrost cycle which builds up frost on evaporator and restricts cold air flow over to the fresh food side.

Ice maker

you need to connect the ice maker to a household cold water source.  the connection point is on the outside back of the fridge.  Hook up kits are available from Home Depot or Lowes

Samsung Refrigerator

this is a design fault on the appliance normally caused by the failure of the element and built up of ice around the circulating fan (the humming is the fan motor trying to turn ) youll find that if you defrost it it will work for a little while and then ice up again the need to replace a panel inside the fridge modified and a couple of sensors and poss the heater element
