Hi, moved my FS 3830 and it now says check waste

Hi, moved my Kyocera FS 3830 and it now says check waste toner box. Have replaced toner cartridge, recovery bottle, pulled cover off and cleaned all surplus toner out of insides and under carriage.

What next? Where can I get a service manual. We are in Vietnam so no in country support for Kyocera machines. Appreciate any help and step by step advice.

Check waste toner box

We have a Kyocera Mita FS-3820N and sometimes when the toner box message does not go away, even after emptying the box, we simply hit it a few times in the area of the box. Works every time!

Self test says 'check waste toner box'

It looks your waste toner box is full. Waste toner box collects toner drawn during printing. You have to remove waste toner bottle and empty it.

Follow the instructions to clean up toner bottle

Kyocera Printer C5030N

Remove the developer and toner cartridge from the front of your unit. This will allow you to take out your drum where your waste toner box is. Once you have your drum with your waste toner box make sure to detach the waste toner box from the drum. Take a damp linen free cloth and wipe down the inside of the drum unit where your waste toner box goes in. Now take your waste toner box and make sure to secure the waste toner box really well to the drum. This has to be in very tight or else the printer will not think that there is a toner box attached the drum and this error will continue to appear. Important thing is to make sure that the toner box is attached really well to the drum unit.
