Some of windows Xp drivers missing

You obviously got access to the internet somehow in order to post this question. Unless you can get to the ACER website and download the drivers, you are not going to get satisfaction. Here is the link to the ACER driver support site. Enter your model and choose your OS. Download the drivers to a USB stick and transfer them to your PC.

the xp proffesional cd doesint include the drivers the driver cd comes along with the motherboard after installing windows you have install the drivers which came with the motherboard insert the driver cd it autoruns and tick all the drivers you want to load it load automaticlly if the driver cd is not working you can downoad the drivers from the net

Go to Control Panel - System - Device Manager and right-click on each of the hardware components where you need drivers. There will be a description of each item, so then you can download the drivers. Good luck

www.hp.com would be a good starting point. Compaq is manufatured by HP. There should be a support/downloads page on the website

There u will find the ethernet drivers, the multimedia video controll drivers is only for the MCE.
The unkown device is something on your mobo, you need to findout what that is otherwise you wont be able to findout witch driver you missing.
Anyway, you will find all avalible drivers for your laptop and XP Pro if you follow that link above.

The display is very soft and dull in my labtop (toshiba-satellite A135-S2386) . I changed Vista and keep XP operating system, I am not able to install video controller,ethernet controller, etc I need the driver for the same

Go to Lenovo's support site on another unit, enter the model of your unit (it's on the bottom of the laptop) and download the drivers for the items XP didn't have drivers for.
It's not uncommon these days to have very few drivers provided by the operating system.
