No error message. programme light comes on but does nothing

Error 3 is a Door lock error and has nothing to do with the water sensor. Tighten the door down snuggly, but don't over-tighten. If it still doesn't work it may need a door rebuild or switch replacement. Call for service if it doesn't restart.

did you turn on the water? that happens

Are you getting any error messages? Is anything coming up on screen at all? Any lights coming on?

Has the belt come off

Does the programmer move or make noises?

It could be one of four things
Faulty programmer (if it does not move or make noises)
Faulty Door lock, (try pushing the door firmly in)
The belt may be broken - If the belt is broken or come off of the wheel then you will be able to see this by removing the top. (always make sure that you remove the electrical plug before investigating)
The brushes on the motor could be worn down

Hi, my LG manual for WD1238C says that OE is Drainage Trouble would imagine the Error codes are the same for all LG machines.

all error 50 messages relate to the motor.

The error message "Err" usually indicates that the wash program and option are not compatible. 40 degrees and 900 rpm Spin should be o.k.. I would try another wash program with no special options and see if the problem goes away.

Use the following steps to perform a Factory Reset:

1. Turn the printer off.
2. Hold in the circular button on the front panel of the printer.
3. Turn the printer back on.
4. When the DRUM light is lit by itself let go of the button.
5. Hold in the circular button on the front panel again.
6. Once the Alarm light comes on, let go of the button.
