Lpg doesent have as much octane as gas/petrol, and so will stall and hiccup more at lower revs, most people with lpg conversions run their car on gas when around town and switch to lpg when in on the highway. have you replaced the air filter as well?

Holden statesdman 1994 VR It is on PETROL AND GAS will start on petrol but keeps stalling when switched over to gas is good

I assume this is dual fuel.... LPG and gasoline??????? Is cooling system full? If so, probably plugged filter on LPG convertor. If you are not knowledgeable with LPG, get someone who is. LPG is highly explosive.

Audi a4 alt motor sounds like running on 3 cylinders

Robert your going have to check the oil pressure the oil pumps on these engines tend to let go. What happens the key way that drives the gear strips and at low rpms it doesn't pump oil to the top of the motor but when you rev it the gear spins a little faster that's why it makes less noise you will have to replace the oil pump. As for the missing the hydrolic lifters are no working properly because of the low oil pressure.

LDV MAXAS PLATINIUM, 2006, 120BHP, 2.5 Does anyone

Hi
I would have though your garage would have either cleaned or replaced the aur mass sensor.
You can find this four/five pin plug somewhere between the air filter and the throttle housing or google its location.
These often dont show up well on diagnostic computers.
You can run engine with plug disconnected to see if it runs better or not. If it does then buy and fit a new sensor.
All that really controls your fueling is coolant sensor and air sensors....these often fail the most.
Good luck
