I have a Bosch HBN 765 double oven. The top oven (which has the control panel) won't shut off. I have tried the power cycle like you previously recommended but the problem persisted. Any other suggestion prior to calling a repair man?
The 700 series has touch panel controls. I was told that a relay on a control board is faulty and stuck on. I have power cycled multiple times. The last thing I did was to activate self-cleaning for the affected oven and during its cycle the error code F113 showed up on the display. I cannot find an explanation for this code anywhere. The 700 series has touch panel controls. I was told that a relay on a control board is faulty and stuck on. I have power cycled multiple times. I SOUNDS LIKE THE SELECTOR SWITCH INSIDE HAS STUCK ONE OF THE TABS TOGETHER. THEY ARE A SMALL ROW OF BRASS FINGERS THAT CONNECT WHEN THE KNOB IS TURNED..

Sure this is the failure off the unit but make sure that the step down transformer for the power to the unit is faulty or burnt. If so replace the transformer. If power goes tto unit without display then the processor can be faulty . Change the clock timer. unit if you need the timings.
Try putting thermoter in oven take off main dial you well see a small screw ajust slowly and check every 30min.tell temp is correct.and put dial back on
Hi, If your electric oven is not heating then you probably have a bad heating element in your oven. This is not that hard to fix yourself... Check out this tip that I wrote about the Oven not heating problem..
After the oven is switched off, the after-run of the cooling fan is controlled by an electromechanical thermostat switch. The fan can switch back on, due to residual oven heat that accumulates within the oven's outer case and reactivates the cooling fan temperature switch.
Considering yours is making buzzing sounds and activates on and off, the fan's thermal switch may have dirty contacts or just be defective and require replacement.
