I have a 12 year old Motorola FRS 250 radio that needs a speaker. I would like to find a replacement speaker (internal) but don't know where I can purchase them. I need these radios for a missions/humanitarian trip I will be taking to the Philippines in April. Thanks for your help

You have a few options: check with your local radio dealer or radio shack store for a similar speaker, purchase another used T250 radio via ebay or other source, or simply retire the T250 and purchase another low cost TalkAbout radio. All these radios operate on the same 14 FRS frequencies. Motorola has never supplied parts for this line of consumer radios. They had a replacement warranty, then following the expiration of your warranty they were considered disposable/replaceable. Sorry.

Best regards.

No trasnsmission coming out of the speaker on one. 1 works ok and the other one doesn't

I don't know if the smaller ones like what you have operate the same as my 2 watt motorolas but I have a sub frequency on top of the channel. Check into that.

Your question is unclear. Call them from where? Using what device?

If they have an FRS phone, set the channel and privacy code and go.

The Talkabout is a user programable radio. You will need to put the radio in the programing mode and program it to the other radios.

I can't find a download for the Motorola Talkabout 250 manual

Grasp the black bottom sides of the radio and tug it hard. No screws to loosen. The bottom slides off. The battery placement will be in there.

Same station same code only working one way motorola 250

If one set has FRS and GMRS channels and the other doesn't, the FRS channels may not match. Try using the lower channels or going up or down one channel.
