Security code If i change the access codes in security code option by typing 0000 (default code) it displays "No matching code" I have purchased a new handset lg cookie KP 500

• Menu->Settings->Security->Anti-Theft mobile tracker.
• Here two options Set ATMT and Number for ATMT are found.
• Make Set ATMT code to be 'ON'.

• In Number for ATMT code type 0000(i.e default ATMT code ,user may change this code in change codes options).After typing 0000 (ATMT CODE) it will ask for Name and Mobile number provide it in order to monitor the anti-mobile theft tracking operation for the specified name and mobile number.We can change the settings at all time.
• For change ATMT code it will ask for old code if the mobile is newly buyed and not any ATMT codes are manually assigned then you can type 0000 which is the default ATMT code for Anti-Theft mobile tracker.

1. Select the "Menu" option from the main screen on the phone.
2. Click the option for "Settings" and then "Security Settings."
3. Scroll to and select "Change access codes."
4. Scroll to and click "Change PIN code."
5. Type in the current PIN code. The default code is either 1234 or 0000 (four zeros).
6. Select the "OK" option to confirm.
7. Type in a new PIN code of your choice and select "OK." Remember this password for future use. If you lose it and need to change the PIN code again, you will have to completely reset the phone, which may cause you to lose all data.
8. Type in the new PIN code again to confirm that you entered it correctly.
9. Click the option to "Save" and then "OK" to confirmation when a message appears.

To hard reset of your cell

Type 1809#*500# & select reset option which restores the factory settings. A confirmation screen will appear, select Yes. It it asks security code then enter 0000 it will take some time and your handset will be restored to original settings.

or try this to Reset Default
From the standby screen, press Menu
Scroll to and select Settings
Scroll to and select Reset Settings
Scroll to and select Master Reset
A confirmation screen will appear, select Yes.
It it asks security code then enter 0000

You have to enter the default security code
Default will be 0000 or 1234 or 12345 or 00000(For default code check user manual of user handset).
If these won't works somebody changed security code.
To reset security code you need to flash your handset

To flash you need *USB cable compatible with your handset *A C omputer *PC suite of your handset *Internet connection(Min speed 1Mbps)

To flash *Install the PC suite *Connect to USB *Open the PC suit *Select UPDATE PHONE SOFTWARE**
**Please don't disconnect while updation process

Clear memory

You may try default phone and security code to remove restrictions.

5. Scroll to and select desired option:
   • Handset Contents
   • Handset Personal info.
   • Memory Card
     
     
6. Scroll to and select Yes.
   
   
7. Enter Security code, press OK.
   NOTE: The default security code is 0000.

The default lock code (security) is 0000. and default, PIN1 is 1111, and PIN2 is 2222

5. Select desired option:
   • When Power On
   • When Smartchip Changed
   • Immediately
   • Off
     
     
6. Enter the Security Code, press OK.
   NOTE: The default security code is 0000.
   

Setting the PIN Code:

1. From the standby screen, press Menu.
   
   
2. Scroll to and select Settings.
   
   
3. Scroll to and select PIN Code Request.
   
   
4. Scroll to and select On.
   
   
5. Enter the PIN code, press OK.
   NOTE: Default PIN code is 1111.
   

Changing the Security Code:

1. From the standby screen, press Menu.
   
   
2. Scroll to and select Settings.
   
   
3. Scroll to and select Change Codes.
   
   
4. Scroll to and select Security Code.
   
   
5. Enter the current Security Code, press OK.
   NOTE: The default security code is 0000.
   
   
6. Enter in the New security code, press OK.
   
   
7. Confirm Security Code, press OK.
   

IMPORTANT: If the incorrect lock code is entered more than 3 times the phone will display "ENTER PUK". If this message is displayed contact Customer Care.
