Jenn-Air dishwasher jdb1100aws problem

I have a Jenn-Air dishwasher, model JDB1100AWS. It's not working properly... when I start a wash cycle, hot water pools in the bottom, but the dishes don't get sprayed, and within a few minutes the dishwasher shuts itself off. At this point I can set it to drain the water in the bottom, but that's it. The detergent never gets released from the tray... it's as if the dishwasher just stops before going to the rinse cycle. I can't see any obvious problems with blockages.

I hate to sound like a broken record. But look for my vinegar and CLR fix. In my experience in most cases that works.
Thanks

Leaks onto the floor

With or without a load in the dishwasher, start the wash cycle and watch the whole thing. Inspect around the door to see if water is seeping through the seal. If no water is leaking around the door, then there may be a cracked hose line somewhere else.

JDB1100AWS not rinsing

if your filter assembly is clogged you are going to need to clean it. if it is really bad then it should be replaced. the part number is 99003292 and would probable cost about $30. the other thing is start your dishwasher on a rinse cycle and see if you have suds in the bottom do not put additional detergent in while checking this. if you have suds run vinegar in the dishwasher to help get rid of the suds as that can cause the same problem. Let me know if you need additional info
