How can I get all the software for the Canon Ixus 75 in Chinese language. The unit was bought in HK . I can't find the CD and a website where the software can be downloaded.

I have been at the site that you have described. It was one of the first sites that I visited. But the Chinese language option is not available on the drop down menu. Do you have any other suggestions.

You can download the software in Chinese language from the below link:
http://software.canon-europe.com/products/0010438.asp
Select OS and the language to download the software.

How can I change the language on my canon E500 printer

Change language from chinese > english for canon

Below are the step for your kind attention - change the language setting;

1. Un-install all Canon related program/software/driver from your PC
2. Click START - Click Control Panel - Click Clock, Language and Region - Click Region and Language
3. Click Administrative option - Click Change system locale... - Select English (united States or United Kingdom)
4. Click Apply and please re - start you PC.
5. After re - start the PC, put the printer CD to install the driver and software accordingly.

Press the power button. Set the mode switch to playback (the right-pointing triangle). Hold down the FUNC/SET button and press the MENU button. Use the cursor keys to select a language. Press the FUNC/SET button.

Language problem

Turn the camera on, and make sure you are in the playback mode (not picture taking mode). Press and hold the FUNC button, and while holding it press the MENU button. You should see a list of languages available on the LCD screen. Use the arrow keys to select English, then press the FUNC button again.

Hey thaze,
According to the manufacturer you need to press the playback button, which looks like a triangle pointing to the right. Next you need to hold down the func. /set button, and press the menu button. Next you need to use the up/down arrows, or the right/left arrows to choose the desired language and then press the func. /set button. I hope this helps!
