pump stays on while spinning and 4 afew mins after

I removed the hoses and pump and found the filter in the hose leading from the washer was clogged with a shoelace, $2.35 in loose change and a few GI Joe issued M4's. :-) Once I pulled that filter out and cleaned the **** the washer runs like a champ.

Running with a restricted water supply probably took out the pump.
The stator requires a steady water supply for cooling and lubrication. Without this accelerated wear between the stator & magnetic poles occurs.
This additional clearance makes the magnetism insufficient to spun the impellor.

Set timer dial to the final spin position,approx 8-40 position by clock time you will then hear the pump come on , and it will do just the last final spin.
The spin symbol is marked with a large squirl.

the most common cause is worn out brushes in the motor, sme brands you can rplace the brushes others require a new complete motor

Another computer generated flaw.The worst thing is alot of times that "flaw" can be a costly one
