Your answer is wrong anyway. (This should be clear since if you put in q=-33, one side will be positive and the other side negative.) This is just simple distributing and rearranging:

1*4200*(45-q) = 1.5*2400*(q-20)

1*4200*45 - 1*4200*q = 1.5*2400*q - 1.5*2400*20

189000 - 4200q = 3600q - 72000

189000+72000 = 3600q + 4200q

261000 = 7800q

q = 261000/7800

The answer is 33.4615 give or take a few places.

Hi,
1*4200(45-q)=1.5*2400*(q-20) 4200(45-q)=3600(q-20)........( 1.5*2400=3600) L.H.S, Multiplying 4200 with 45 and q(opening the bracket). Similarly,in R.H.S,Multiplying 3600 with q and 20 189000-4200q=3600q-72000 Taking similar terms on one side, 189000+72000=261000 and 3600q+4200q=7800q 261000=7800q. q=26100/7800 q=33.461

Equator Super Combo Washer/Dryer Unit Model 4400. Does anyone know how to repair/replace the display and/or heating element please?

This is a brand I have never heard of and it appears to be sold under different names. Likely made in China or somewhere similar. The best way to contact companies is by phone.

Element, no details on how. It would be a matter of taking it apart and finding it.

F(x) is cubic function with zeros at +3 and +2+2i, find equation for f(x)=-12 need help please

A cubic polynomial with real coefficients has three roots (in the field of Complex numbers). One root is real, the other two are complex conjugate.
Roots are z=+3,z=2+2i, z=2-2i
F(z)=(z-3)(z-2-2i)(z-2+2i)

Solve and check using elimination methodx+y=10 x-y=-6

Apply what you learned, especially that this system is quite simple.
Elimination
1. entails eliminating one variable to find (in this case) a single equation involving the other variable.
2. Solve that new equation, meaning isolate the variable that was not eliminated.
3. Substitute the value found in the last step and replace it in one of the original equation to obtain the other variable.

x+y=10
x-y=-6

Add the left sides to get x+y+x-y=2x
Add the right sides of the system to obtain 10+(-6)=4
Write Sum of left sides =Sum of right sides or 2x=4.
Since this new equation involves only x, you can solve it for x, getting x=4/2=2
Now you know the value of x (=2)
Take one of the original equations (for example x+y=10) and put 2 in place of x.
The equation becomes 2+y=10
Solve it to obtain y=10-2=8
Thus your solution is x=2, y=8

Check: use one equation in which you substitute 2 for x and 8 for y: x-y=-6 becomes 2-8=-6
Verified.
In the general case you will have to multiply by certain values to obtain opposite coefficients for the same variable. Here that was not necessary because the coefficient of y is 1 in the first equation and -1 in the second.

I need assistance understanding this algebra equation and the steps to solve it. 7+(9-5x)=5(2-x)

this is a simple algebraic equation in which we have to calculate the value of 'x' using simple operations

7+(9-5x)=5(2-x)

step 1(pen the brackets) 7+9-5x=10-5x
step 2(add 7 and 9) 16-5x=10-5x

now as 5x gets cancelled both the sides of the equal sign therefore no solution of this algebraic equation exist.

7x-2y=1 y=3x

And your question is? If you just want to know how to solve this system, you only need to substitute one equation into the other and solve for the remaining unknown.

y=3x (equation 2), so plug it into equation 1

7x-2y=1
7x-2(3x)=1
7x-6x=1
x=1

from equation 2 then, you know y=3x=3
