Question about Bosch Washing Machines
Key + beeping = child lock has been activated.
To clear this
1. close washing machine door
2. turn dial to usual wash setting
3. press start button and keep pressing for several seconds - the problem should be solved.

Try buttons "dry" & "spin" together for a few seconds. This could be the child lock display.
Or press "end of cycle" for over 3 seconds.
Or press "options & select" till the light goes off.
Works for other machines..............

If the beep sound is coming from the dial not from the bottom where the motor is then the issue seems to be with the Timer/control board going bad and needs to be replaced. However, you can unplug the unit and then blow some air with the help of hair dryer before replacing the Timer motor/control board. If the sound comes from the motor area then it is the motor that has gone bad and should be replaced. When the motor goes bad it will fill with water and empty. One more thing to check will be the door lock-switch assembly, because if the control detects door not locked it won't run cycle and will just drain the water out. Also please let me know the exact key symbol before 0 which is appearing on the panel. Hope this helps... .please post back for further assistance.

The lock button activates/deactivates the Keylock or the Childlock functions. This button has either a key or a padlock icon. I believe that on this model it is a padlock
The Keylock feature disables all the buttons on the control panel.
To activate, press and hold the button until you hear one beep (3 seconds). The symbol
appears in the electronic display when the Keylock feature is activated.
The Childlock feature locks the drawer and disables all the buttons on the control panel.
To activate, press and hold the button until you hear two beeps (5 seconds). The symbol
appears in the electronic display when the Childlock feature is activated.
To cancel the Childlock feature, press and hold the button until you hear one beep and the
symbol disappears from the electronic display.

If this doesn't work... And I've seen these units do some odd things. Try unplugging it for about an hour (if plug is not under sink you can turn of the breaker that powers the unit). Then plug it back in and see if that works. These dishwasher like many modern day appliances have solid state microprocessors in them which sometimes need reset just like a computer.
Hope this helps.
