There are two major things that come to mind here.
The first being the fuel pump and fuel pump regulator (usually one assembly) It gets an electronic signal from the computer from the throttle position sensor. If the voltage varies too much, or drops too much, it will stop fuel flow because the voltage to the pump drops.
The other thing is the Idle Air Control Valve. It overrides the throttle position sensor when you aren't pressing the accelerator. It engages to ensure airflow continues to the intake system. If this is malfunctioning, this could also cause you issue. Best advice is to check for the engine light, or take it in and have it scanned.
because its a 2002 chevy blazer and they arent fast vehicles... seriously need more info to try and help, anything done/happen to it right before the problem stopped? what engine/transmission is in it? etc...
