No,Ur LCD inverter backlight board is dead.Replaced this board will get ur picture back.Tries Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish LCD inverter backlight boad for the replacement.It a long shape board.

Since you are getting sound, your main board seems to be working. Please check and tighten the flat ribbon( LVDS) from main board to LCD panel. Good luck.
Purchase an HDMI cable for excellent quality sound and pictures. I suspect the A/V leads will work if you set the TV to the AV channel that is assigned to the AV sockets otherwise you will get a blue screen and no signals. Hope that clears your problem.
I came across the same problem and i replaced all the capacitors on the power board and that fixed it. but now it came back with bad ccfl tubes backlight. hope this helps.
Problem in Your monitor VGA cable no horizental or Vertical signal.So it is not active standby mode.Check signal or VGA cable on not adjust properly CPU.or any other device.May be VGA cable was broken.Replace it.If you are not replace the part so you can get help any service technician.
