Question about Radio Communications
Inside of the cabinette there is a small pc board located on the right side of the chasis. It sits vertically and has a metal cover on it. There are 2 potentiometers on the board. One is for depth of echo and the other is for speed)

NO!!! The silver box is the freq counter, the echo board is the small board next to the silver box, unscrew the freq counter module "silver box" and then unscrew the echo board "small board" turn board over and you will see the 2 blue adjustments for the echo, you wont get much out of it BUT you can turn it down.

Don't mess around inside a CB unless you are skilled in electronics. Modules in a CB don't switch out like a computer, everything is soldered in. The echo board manufacturer should have a compatibility list at their web site. Factors to consider its size, can it use existing wires, do the voltages match? You might consider contacting tech sellers on ebay selling similar items or similar radios. The easy fix is to buy a mike that also has a built in echo feature.
