I refill my ownlexmark cartridges. But I cannot reset the low ink level
prompt that comes across my computer and printer. Any suggestions.
After refill my printer say "out of ink".
How can reset ink level.

To get your printer to recognize the new cartridge; go to start - printer and faxes -right click on printer - preferences (printing preferences) -settings -load factory settings. Print test page Ctrl+P
There is no resetter listed for this printer at

so there must be some other method. If you get
the refill kit from them they will send you instructions
or just request them at InkTelligent.com

Most likely the cartridge is no longer usable. The ports will eventually become to clogged or the fiber inside the cartridge will not permit the ink to make it to the port and not read as a full cartridge.

This is the problem because Lexmark cart have inbuild sensor , to by pass is to use original lexmark cart .

Same problem. If I can not splve this I will give the printer to goodwill and never buy this brand again. Back to HP I guess.

I have had the same problem on an X3580 Lexmark. It's inconvenient to keep cancelling the warning, and after a while after a couple of refills the printer started to 'play tricks' and eventually wouldn't print at all, even with a new replacement cartridge. I won't buy another Lexmark.
I have a Lexmark X5470 Inkjet all-in-one color printer. I purchased refilled Black No.34 cartridge and a Color No. 33 Cartridge from Cartridge World but the printer will not accept them and will not print. Error msg on printer reads "Right Cartridge Incorrect". Cartridge World people say I need Reset method for the printer, I cannot find the instructions on the Lexmark website.
