Question about Peg Perego Primo Viaggio Verde Infant Car Seat
Hi, I figured I would post the outcome since I was searching for resolutions last night. I called Peg Perego. The piece that is cracked on mine (the top of the center section of the headrest) can be replaced with a new headrest piece for $32.99 (including shipping). The new piece does not have stryofoam though. It's just a heavier material (almost pillow-like). The representative that I spoke to, however, said that if the styrofoam was a clean break (meaning not in a whole bunch of pieces) it's still safe to keep it together under the cover and use the car seat as normal. Apparently, that's not what's really protecting the baby anyway. To be honest, I don't even think that I broke the styrofoam while taking the cover off, I think it was broken beforehand probably by just use and the weight of the baby. I will get some styrofoam glue and duct tape and just secure it and put my sparkly clean cover back over top of it. I think it's fine for use. Thanks and good luck to others with this issue out there!

Hi,
I have the same issue. I'm very interested to find out if you resolved your issue and were able to order the part. I have to call Peg Perego tomorrow as they are closed right now. Any info is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jen
My advice is don't bother with them. I described the part and my problem and the Peg Perego customer service representative sent a part to me. She sent the cloth cover that goes over the styrofoam, which I did not need. When I contacted them again, I was told I was out of luck. They don't sell the part I need. I returned the part but they would not refund the shipping even though they sent me the wrong piece. Terrible customer service. I will not do business with them again. I would recommend duct taping the styrofoam together. We did that and it seems sturdier than before. Good luck!
