Does it only happen in Windows media player? If it does try gettting the updated version of media player. if it happens in other applications try changing the dics. If that doesnt work, you need to delete the lower and upper filters in the registry *Note* if you are not really comfortable in doing that then dont, Wrong move in the registry can mess up the operating system, here is the link how to delete the lower and upper filters

if these doesnt work uninstall then reinstall the driver for the optical drive..
try also getting an update from your computer manufacturer. update for the optical drive, or BIOS
lastly, try reinstalling the operating system, if these doesnt work change the optical drive because its a hardware issue..
