Bluetooth is not found in the control panel of my laptop
Sir I have Lenevo R61i Think pad. The operating system is Windows XP SPII. its blue tooth is not functioning. so i cannot transfer data from other devices like mobile to the laptop. the blue tooth is not found in the control panel. but it has wireless internet which is working. Is it because of lack of software that i cannot get the blue tooth properly. the light indication of both wi-fi and blue tooth burns when its switch is turned on.

when you just turn on before windows loads hold your finger on the blue tooth button keep your finger on it until windows completely loads you should see the Bluetooth light up and it should working now have a great day and always welcome sir .
If your not using blue tooth try turning it off. You didn't say what operating system your using. On windows 7 you can just click the window icon and type blue tooth in the search window. It should find your default program and get you to where you need to be to turn it off. :You may have some thing on your task bar that allows you to turn off blue tooth. Also try opening control panel and selecting device manager, Look for anything that list blue tooth and disable it. You might have a program on the the program bar under accessories that is listed as blue tooth. Somewhere you should have a way to turn it off.
from the way it sounds you don't have blue tooth software on your PC so go to (download.com) and put in the search pane (free bluetooth software) and see what ya can find should find bluetooth V6.0.5 I belive install it and your bluetooth hardware shoud be rec. and loaded for ya ok good luck and have a nice day the fixist !!!
