If you are doing the normal procedures and the water elimination function is working, you have power to the circuit board and controls. The circuit board wash cycle section is independent and aligned with the timer circuit, thus the Wash Cycle Controller has failed. Try leveling the washer... If the washer is level, then don't wrap the clothes around the agitator...drop the clothes straight in, on top of each other evenly around the agitator. The Ensignia washer has a Dual action agitator... That means the clothes roll over them selves, instead of moving side to side, as with a traditional agitator. wrapping the clothes around the agitator will cause the load to be un balanced and then cause the "banging" noise... this should take care of the problem...
