Unknowingly, pressure might have fallen, resulting in breakage of the LCD,that can be replaced.

Brand new long life AA batteries only lasting 15mins

Hi there.
This is a common problem with just about any digital camera out there (even my own).
After spending loads of money on top named brands and types i found that Duracell Alkaline batteries lasted just about the longest in my camera which is a Samsung S 500. Even so i would advise that you stock on them because the camera's do tend to eat the battery power.

Good luck and thanks for using FixYa!!

Kodak EasyShare Z1275

OK, I had a similar issue with a M1033. It would power on then shut down right away. I turned it on and held the power button down. It stayed on as long as I held the power button down. So, while holding the power button down, I went into the camera menu system and chose the "Reset Camera" option. It appeared to do a hard reset and the camera has worked ever since. Hope this helps.

BROKEN LCD KODAK Z1275- NEED INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO REPLACE

The LCD is pretty east to replace once you remove the case screws the case will separate with a little force make sure you mark down the screw "possion". This can be crucial now once the case is off. be careful the LCD can have 2 wires and a ribbon cable or 2 ribbon cables or just 1 ribbon cable. their will be a latch at the end of the ribbon cable lift it up and remove the ribbon cable if their are 2 do the same to both. if their are soldiered wires make sure you remember witch potion they were in. and put the new LCD in the same way you took the other one out. OH YEAH WATCH OUT FOR THE FLASH COMPOSITOR. It can bit like a starving dog on a steak bone. 300 volts is enough bite to make you through the camera across the room LOL take it from me I know LOL. Well just reverse the steps and you should be ok. Hope this helps.
