Lift on the inside of the casing the plastic cover that is over the spot where the centre of the power button is and locate the hole were the plastic centre was of the button , drill a 1 mm hole in the middle of the button and put a M1 flathead screw in that you can find in any computer or other stuff with fine electronics , see to it that the contacts are not bend , do not tighten to mutch , the contacts are the springs !

The right knob had come off!

If your Griddler is still under warranty (3 yr warranty), Cuisinart will replace the entire unit for free. They do not replace knobs. (Cusinart knows if your warranty is valid by the serial number engraved in the bottom of your Griddler). You need to call Cuisart Customer Service at 1-800-726-0190 to get your Griddler replaced. You must pay a $10 shipping fee to get the new Griddler sent to your place, and you must return your broken one in the box they send you, and you pay for the return shipping.

The power supply

Charger is any of AP-V10EG, AP-V11EG or AP-V12EG.

Put any one of those numbers into your local ebay, and see whats on offer. Most sell it without the power lead, which I'm assuming you've still got.

For example, in UK

Gr-dvx7 jvc lcd screen is just white?

If the view finder shows the same white display. You probably have display circuit problem in the camera. Faulty CCD chip usually shows Black screen so it probably board problem or a connector problem. If you see an image through view finder then you may have defective connection from board to LCD assy. Either way it need to be looked at by a trained technician. Good luck.

A part has fallen out.

The component that fell out is called a tape guide. The guide assembly fits into the guide rail on the supply side (left side) of the drum. You will notice another guide to the right, this is the take up guide assy, it sits in the guide rail assembly as well. There will be a silver shaft sticking up from the guide rail where the tape guide should be seated, with gentle pressure, the guide should snap back on and the unit should operate correctly. Please do not touch the drum surface as this may damage the video head assembly. Hope this helps you, good luck. Joe Weibel customelectronics.org
