I am looking for a manual for a lg 42lh30 lcd tv. any help finding one would be helpfull.

open it up check the power supply for busted/swollen or leaking caps if it has some change them out with new caps with same uf and voltages (although you cna up the voltage a little) - check the voltages coming from the power supply if the tv will stay on long enough to do so - if not order a power supply

Hello!!! I do hope that you were able to find these codes, but if not, here they are, with instructions for them!!!!

You will want to follow these steps:
1. Hold down the clear TV button until all lights light up at the top of the remote
2. Punch in the 3-digit code
3. Press the # (pound) button below the 9
4. Try to volume and powering the tv on/off. If one or more of these functions do not work, start over from step 1, with a different code!

Ur power supply board.Transformers have have high voltage gap.This problems must take the tv aparts put some glue arond the transformers,sometime solved this problems,or must replaced all the trnsformers make the humming noise.Brand new tv take it back,where u bought it get a replacement or call the Manufacture help to fix the problems or replaced the part that cause the problem.

There is AUDIO Line out RCA jacks on the back, not speaker level output. You can get manual here: http://tv.manualsonline.com/manuals/mfg/lg/42lg50_1.html

If the unit is under warranty, I would see if I could get LG to replace the LCD Panel. If is not under warranty I would try to live with it because of the cost to replace the Panel.

Contact your LG dealer first as the software version of your TV would need to be checked. Most likely the software needs updated which can only be done by a service engineer.
