My son plugged the wrong power cord into Sony Playstation. now when he plugs the right cord in nothing happens. Is there a fuse or something that can be replaced?

Is it the power cord i assume ? make sure the little flip power switch above the power cord is in on position. and u should have steady red light on front of ps3 when unit has power on. using a different power cord should not affect it but its not recommended . most ps3 uses a standard power cable.

It might not be the fuse,it must be its power cord or the plug you are using try that if it works on other plugs and if not, check the power cord(cable).

All cords plugged into right ports, tv on right channel, playstation is on and i can even hear it read discs, but my no picture will show up on my tv, i have tried several tv's

My ps3 main screen will not show on my tv. i load a game and nothing happens, power is on all the plugs are attached.
Make sure that your on the right channel, read your manual if you can see nothing wrong with what you are doing go to a tech store, contact Sony or you could probably get a refund if its new. Hope helps.

I plug my Sony PLaystation 2 in, the red light on the power button shows up but when i hit the power button it won't turn on. What's wrong?
try unplugging the AC cord from the wall and wait 5 minutes before plugging in.

MY RCA D52W20 52" WONT TURN ON!!!!!
Check the fuse on the AC filter board. If you trace the power cord into where it plugs in on the small skinny board located on the right side when looking in the rear there is a fuse on that board. If its completely dead I would suspect that fuse.

I THINK YOU NEED TO BUY NEW RCA JACKS,, BECAUSE IF THE ELECTRICAL FUSE WENT FROMT HE TV TO RCA JACKS THEN ALL THE CORDS THAT PLUGS TO THE PS2 ARE SHORTED OUT.
