My Acer Aspire 5738G's QWERTY-keyboard has suddenly changed

My Acer Aspire 5738G's QWERTY-keyboard has suddenly cahnged. For example, when I press the key with * and ' it gives me a . This does not happen while using Microsoft Word. I must have pressed some key on the keyboard that changed this, and I would like to know how to change it back.

Sounds as though you have changed it to a US keyboard by accident. Go into Control Panel and Check in Regional & Language Settings for Keyboard.

Just restore the system using previous restoring point. select start-program-accessories-system tools-system restore.....your problem will be solved soon

keyboards tend to have keys die on them over time from use. You can replace the keyboard if you feel this is an important enough issue to warrant it:

Can you change the language of a notebook

Well, not really. Your keyboard settings and managed by your Operative Systems and the laptop manufacturer's drivers/applications. You can use your language bar (XP and Vista). Good luck.
