Desktop portrait or landscape as needed.

How do I turn desktop (Vista) to landscape so I can work lying on my side?

Nope. But thanks. I get "personalize" rather than "properties." My son has Vista Home and can do more with his desktop GUI stuff. I have the Premium version and got stuck. But since I see I can't minimize and see all words (no wrap of text) in I.E. 8, I'll just figure something else out. It's hard to work anywhere but at my desk anyway. Thanks!!!

You may have 'Hot Keys' that have been set to do this. Press, and hold down on the CTRL key, and ALT key, then tap the Up arrow key. No? Then Right-click on an empty area of your desktop screen. On the bottom of the drop down menu that comes up, left-click on Properties. Left-click on the Settings tab. (You are in the Display Properties window. There are tabs across the top. Themes, Desktop, Screen Saver, Appearance, and Settings) Left-click on the Advanced button. (Middle right) Look for the tab - Rotation. Left-click on it. Now rotate your screen.

Depending on the Video card, you can usually select "Rotate" from the icon in the left hand toolbar at bottom left, usually an ATI, Or NVIDIA card, click on the icon, and get into the menu, you should find it there. As I say it is card Dependant Or click Properties on the Video card and select it from there..

How to rotate the screen on a gateway touch screen desktop

Hi. I am fairly certain you would need to go into the Windows Control Panel. Go to "Display, then "Adjust Screen Resolution." Where it says "Orientation," change "Portrait" to "Landscape." This is generally how you change the screen orientation in Windows for most PC's. I hope this has helped you. Thanks!

At college we have a w7200, how can we print across the paper rather than down it, for example a panoramic image across the width of the paper and say 20cm high

Try selecting LANDSCAPE as opposed to PORTRAIT by using the proper print menu in your application rather than the simple print icon from most tool-bars.

You can usually find it in the FILE menus

My daughter has managed to change my display from landscape to portrait how do i get it back to landscape?

Look where the system tray would be on the lower right side of the monitor and look for a display adapter icon. Rich click on it and look for the Hot-Key option. That should tell you what hot-key to revert your screen back.

Hello, You need an application called HP MyDisplay, you can download this at the link below, this app will register in which way the monitor is (landscape or Portrait) and when you pivot (rotate) the screen it will rotate the screen as well.

It prints in portrait then landscape, portrait then landscape and so on. I use a laptop and desktop with this printer and both are doing it. 2 sided print has not been selected.
