I have some torrent files that I deleted but still remain, how do I get rid of them?

Have you try to stop the torrent downloader first of all? In case that they insist (they are locked) download the freeware software "unlocker" and install it. After that, right click at the files you want, choose unlocker and select "delete". The new software will unlock and delete the files.

In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post.

What is the file name?

If you can name it, you can put it in the search box of the file explorer and search the entire computer (c: drive) to find it.

If it is locked up, then you need to go into "safe mode" by pressing F8 on power-up.. This disables most program files.

Then do the search again and you should be able to delete the file that is causing the lock-up.

Many torrents or files downloaded from Lime wire, Bit torrent, and other torrent programs have viruses on them. There is a way to combat this so that these viruses cannot harm your computer. All you need is a flash drive or external hard drive. When you decide to download a file or torrent download on to the drive rather than your pc. Once it has been downloaded use a anti-virus program to scan the file. If the file is corrupt with a virus you can safely delete it. Should you open the file without scanning it and it does contain a virus don't worry there is still hope. Since the file is saved on a external drive or flash drive just reformat the drive and your computer will still be safe.

If they still show in your torrent client delete them from there.

CCleaner is better and free.
It cleans your temp files, your registry, you can delete unwanted system restore points. disable or delete startup programs, and also has a program uninstall.

Have a document that is "deleting" and will not go away. Cannot print anything else....been there for days. How do I get rid of it. Tried to can cel it and it will not go away !!!
Unplug the printer from the pc, uninstall it's driver, wipe all remaining folders from the printer software, reboot , wipe the original file with the trouble, reboot again and reinstall the driver - it should be gone.

How do i use bit torrent to down load music
I would use limewire for that. It's free and fast. If you need to use bit torrent, you need to find a torrent host, such as www.thepiratebay.org, or Torrent reactor. Then you click on it chose open and bit torrent should open. Then wait until it downloads. Don't use this to down load copy write protected music or software. The anti piracy people will come and hunt you down.

Xppro on startup box appears with ref to Twonkymedia startup application error
A program that contained Twonkymedia was probably deleted. Even though it was deleted a reference remains in the start up files and when start up files are executed it can not find the program to start it thus "start up application error". To get rid of the error message you can remove the reference to the program in the start up menu or reinstall the program and let it execute normally on start up.
