Msgs - Too many msgs!!!!

I have a problem at the moment with sending msgs. When I go to send a msg, a msg comes up to say 'Too many messages. Delete some from any folder'. Then when you advance, there is only 1 msg in either my inbox or sent items folder. Once this is deleted, I can send the msg. Then it will not allow me to send anymore as it brings up the same msg but I only have 1 msg in my sent items. I am only receiving 1 msg at any time. I use a memory stick but it does the same thing when the memory stick is removed. What is going on?

SMS and picture messages are not stored on the memory stick.
Sony Ericsson phones have a set allotted memory space for messages and other phone functions.
You may need to delete picture messages, check if you have any saved messages (these are saved to your SIM).
Generally, the only other option would be to reset your phone.
To do a master reset, go to your Menu, then select Settings. Under the General tab, scroll down to Master reset and press select. Select Reset All and press yes.
If prompted, the default passcode is 0000.
Please note that a Master Reset will return the phone to its factory default settings (including locking a phone to the carrier if it has been unlocked). All user data and settings will be deleted. If you have any files or information you would like to save, you should either back it up to a memory stick or your computer. Your contacts can be backed up to the memory stick or your SIM card.

I hav d nokia E63..! & i cannot send any msgs.....it says "memory full , close some applications first...(& i hav absolutely no applications on except messaging)...... before it said that...

hi, the memory might truly be full...check your memory status and see if truly it is full....if after checking, you realized that it is full, then you will have to delete some messages and delete some applications that you use less often..but, if you check your memory status and you realize you still have space, then it means you will have to scan for virus.
cheers

Hello i can not send picture messages is there anything u can do to help me solce this thanks

To send pic msgs you need to have MMS activated on your phone. If it is activated then there is no way that you would not be able to send pic msgs. Please contact the helpline of your service provider and ask them to activate the MMS on your number. When they do it, they will send a msg to you with the settings. Only after you save this msg that the MMS would be available to you on your phone.
