Turntable i have just brought some numark battle turnables and one of them doesnt work as the wire is frayed and the needle is broken on the other one and i dont know what to do to them to repair them.

All you need to do is look at the cartridge. It should have a number on it. Put that into google and you should find the answer!

if you have the headshell left with the 4 little wires hanging out then you will need a complete cartridge.

if you have the cartridge part then it's still good and you only require a new needle. Type your cartridge number into the search window at the above website.

than hook the other speaker to the one that works.Take the wire out the amp that do not work and hook that into the working speaker

check needles and all connections also connect any gnds (earths)

per the numark site this table was sold without a cartridge so it could have almost anything installed. To find the right needle will depend on the cartridge currently installed. Presuming it came with a cartridge from ebay, try to find any part numbers on it and get back to me. If there is no cartridge then you will need a complete cartridge presuming you have 4 wires hanging out the end of the tonearm from the headshell.

I don't suggest using the originals that came with the turntables, as they aren't of the greatest quality. For a small investment (about $50), you can get some better quality cartridges/needles.

these motors are quite cheap. You can open it up yourself and see if any resistors are burned up. If not, contact numark parts dept and order new motor. quite easy to install.
