Refrigerator makes ice and dispenses ice, but does

Refrigerator hotpoint mod. # HSS25GFPD WW makes ice and dispenses ice, but does not dispense water. I just replaced the filter. Is it that the possibility the solenoid valve and if it is where is it located?

Could be valve, it is located underneath on back. it also could be the mother board. Check valve with ohms metter. Also make sure water resevior or water lines are not frozen inside refrig section. Also water feed line going up through door bottom hinge on freezer is not frozen. Disconnect at couplin at left bottom front and blow through line

Hotpoint ice/water dispenser will dispense ice but not water

You may have a blocked filter. Has this even been changed since you have hook-up the water line, or did you recently just install a new filter. If so it may not be in right correctly. try removing it and reinstalling it.

I have a GE Refrigerator GSS22JFMD WW with a ice

The water supply in the recessed part of your door is frozen. very common with this model. You will need to turn unit off and with freezer door open use hairdryer on the area where water dispenses and on the recessed area as well. This is time consuming but only other remedy is to leave off and door open for 24 hours. hope this helps.

We have a Hotpoint side by side fridge. It always makes

check the door in the dispenser if moisture is condensing and freezing so that the door won't open try manually popping the door open just before you attempt to dispense ice, maybe you'll get lucky, otherwise your going to have to get a technician to come and check the micro-switch for the dispenser

apply hair drier to spout and surrounding area for a minute every ten minutes , after about an hour the ice that has formed will be loose enough for the water to come out of spout

Ice maker not working

The icemakers won't make ice if the temperature is not below a certain set point. Varies between manufacturers. Try making the temp colder.

Ice dispenser only dispenses crushed ice

Check and make sure your switch is okay. Some have a switch that controls whether you want crushed or cubes. If it is defective replace it.
