Stove won't work. Stovetop burners are fine but

Stove won't work. Goes through the motions like it's preheating with timer and all but stove stays ice cold. Stovetop burners are fine but oven doesn't ignite at all. No gas smell, no glow, nothing. Is this an electric ignite on this unit? If so is that probably the problem? And if it is is there a website to show step by step how to replace? It's a Whirlpool Super Capacity 465. Thanks in advance!

I have a Heartland Legacy stove. Three of the burners work fine and the spark goes off after the burner is lite.

Remove the grate and burner cap from the problematic burner. Remove the sealed burner base and look for loose connections or disconnected wires. Secure any loose connections and reconnect any disconnected wires, reinstall the burner base, cap and grate. Restore power to the stove and test the connection.

GE Stove tope range not working

If the phenomenon is intermittent, and you get it going and coming as you restart the oven, then it is likely a bad wiring or a bad connection.
Ensure first that the circuit breaker is ok and well in place, then proceed testing wirings.
Check connectors to buners, hobs, and controls panel.
If all wirings and connections are OK, the what reamins is a faulty control panel or a fault on some of the knob controls.

On my electric stove, one of the burner caught on fire, and now the indicator light stays on even after the stove is turned off

If the light remains on, that would indicate the circuit was damaged. The light goes on when the circuit is complete. This usually happens when the burner gets hot. If it caught fire, then the stove is registering it as hot all the time.

hi The range timer is usually located in the control panel on top of the range. If you suspect the timer is faulty, don't try to fix it yourself. Remove it and take it to a professional service person for testing. Here's how to remove the timer:

Step 1: Remove the back service panel to the control panel and release the spring clips that hold it in position, or remove the retaining screws.

Step 2: Push the timer forward to release it.

Step 3: Remove the electrical lead wires from the timer housing. If, when disassembling the timer, you notice that the electrical wire terminals look burned, remove these leads and buff the leads and the terminal points with fine steel wool. Burned and/or dirty terminals can cause the timer to malfunction, but a good cleaning can solve this problem.

Step 4: Replace the old timer or install a new one of the same size and type, if this is necessary. Connect the new timer the same way the old one was connected.

GE Profile stovetop w/4 burners doesnt stay hot enough to cook on anymore

I would check to see if you have 220 Volts to the stove, even if you have only one leg with 110 volts to stove it will let the burners get half hot. with out the model number i don't know about any censers. The flat tops have temp sensors on them. but not that operates for all four. I would check at wall receptacle first for 220 volts first but only if you are qualified to work with electricity REMEMBER it can injure or KILL you.
