If the bike has been sitting for 5 years the battery will be dead lights working does not mean it is good, fit a new one.A hydrometer is a good and cheap tool to check individual cells of a battery.about £7 or $12? from auto store.Allso carefully check and sand all earth cables ,and check cut out switches ,maybe on side stand As for the oil level if you have no dip stick you may have a sight glass on the side of the engine, stand bike upright, put wood under the sidestand on level surface,be very carefull not to drop it, leave to settle .if level correct the oil will be half way up the glass. if this does not help call back.
